SOLD - 1977 13' Scamp Gorgeous Mahogany Remodel - $19,950 - Brooklyn, NY

I spent the pandemic using my woodworking skills and tools to remodel a 1977 Scamp with high-end, ultra-light mahogany cabinetry, yacht lighting and stainless steel finishes. If you're not familiar with Scamps, they're great! They're compact and light (approx 1700 pounds), which means you can tow them with most vehicles. I tow mine with a minivan! They sleep 4, so they're great for a family. Two of the beds are bunk beds so they're really meant for kids (although they certainly can hold an adult's weight...I've tried). The rear transforms from a generous mahogany dining table, easily fitting 6 people, to a full-sized bed. Also, Scamp is still fabricating RVs today in Minnesota, so you can always give them a call if you have any issues and they can help out with their midwestern nice.

I'm on to the next project and am looking to sell, mostly just to get some of the money back that I put into it. I'm located in Brooklyn but the trailer itself is currently in an indoor space about 90 minutes outside of the city in SUSSEX, New Jersey. Serious buyers only, please.

Some features include (but aren't limited to):
-New marine-varnished mahogany cabinetry
-New all-weather boat blanket interior
-New gray performance wool upholstery
-New electrical system including a 15amp input, a new 100ah liFe po4 battery, and a bluetooth enabled battery monitor
-New plumbing system including a shurflo pump, accumulator, silencers, and 12 gallon fresh and gray water tanks
-New LED lighting both ambient and practical throughout the cabin
-Marine quality stainless steel dimmable exterior and interior lamps
-4 USB port
-A new DC inverter to power all you electronics
-New kitchen including 2 burner stove, stainless steel sink and faucet, magnetized utensil rack
-An extended main sleeping area boosting 10" more sleeping width than the original scamp
-Fiamma retractable awning with rainguard
-Reliable exterior finish from Epifanes yacht coatings
-Original, newly polished Jalousie windows that fully open and close
-Recently replaced axle bearings and tires

The rear transforms from a generous dining table, easily fitting 6 people at a solid mahogany table, to a full sized bed. Also great for a tiny home or mobile backyard office space.
