2020 Meerkat Trailer
$17,500
It’s time to sell my Meerkat trailer. She’s great! I inherited a van, so she has to go (sadly).
I am the second owner of this trailer. I have always stored the trailer in my garage, and I used it to travel within California. My favorite attributes:
-- 950 lbs (dry weight) - it can be towed by anything, and I can push it by hand on pavement and gravel.
-- Fits in a standard garage, but pops-up to a standing height of over six feet (fits in garage pictured in photos).
-- Permanent trailer plates, so no registration to pay every year (and I have the title).
-- Wide range of features (Fan-Tastic Fan, under-seat storage, LED lighting, etc.).
-- Cute as heck.
It is 13 feet long and 5 feet wide. It’s 77 inches tall with the pop-up down, over 6 feet with it up. It has all the features in this promotional video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uq0LQO_H_kw&t=8s), except it has the ice box instead of the refrigerator. I photographed the unused spare tire separately - I forgot to put it back on before I took photos after cleaning the trailer.
I will throw in some freebies: solar panel (see photos), brand-new hitch lock, Camco leveling blocks with case, butane stove (that came with it), double hitch wheel, and hitch grease. It is missing the Thetford PortaPotti (which is $105 to replace, see Amazon).
As you may know, there are very few used Meerkat trailers for sale, and new 2024 Meerkat trailers go for $29,095.
My price is on the low-end.
I’m in Santa Cruz, and you’ll need to tow the trailer away (no delivery).
Thanks for your interest!
