SOLD - 1987 Scamp 13ft Trailer - $9,000 - Bend, OR

End of season sale!

Greetings!
After years of contemplation, I have finally decided to sell my 1987 Scamp camper (13’). This is a sweet and lightweight little fiberglass camper, but I am just no longer using it and would love to find it a home where it will be used for more adventures!

I originally purchased it in 2017 in rough condition and extensively renovated it over the years (photos available). The majority of the hard work has been completed and it is ready to hit the road, but there is also plenty of opportunity to really make this camper your own! It weighs about 950lbs and was towed easily by my Subaru Crosstrek.

The “Good” / Updates:
- New Welded Tongue & Trailer Jack (2017) *
- New Tires (2017)
- New Trailer Lighting & Brake Controller-Compatible (2017) *
- New Axle (2018) *
- New 20w Solar Panel System (2017) *
- New Lighting Fixtures (2017) *
- New Interior Paint, Trim & Flooring (2017)
- New Fiberglass Coat & Repair (2024)
- New (Easy To Wash) Interior Fabric Throughout (2017) *
- New Spare Tire Cover (2017)
- New Vent Cover (2017)
- New Gravel Shield (2024)
- New Battery (2024)
- New Full Propane Tank & Regulator (2024)
- New Window Seals (2024)

* Professionally Installed

The “Bad”
I had a mobile RV repairman come out and look over the camper (June 6, 2024). Based on his inspection, the following items were brought up.

- The furnace may need a new control board and/or to be fully replaced. This unit has always been fairly finicky, but I have never needed to use it. If a reliable (built-in) furnace is a priority for your needs, I would recommend full replacement ($465 – New Online).

- There is a water tank and system installed, however, I have never used it and cannot guarantee it is functional. The repairman mentioned that the necessary parts are there, but we did not test the system.

- There is a crack in the vent cover. I have since patch/sealed the cover, but it may need replacement in the future.

- There is no bathroom with this model, however, it did come with a portable toilet (that I have never used).

- Please note, it has a 7 way trailer plug, which may require an adapter for some vehicles. (Please see photos)

Thank you for reading! I am happy to answer any questions, but please also know that I am in no hurry to sell and am not willing to entertain lowball offers or trades. I am located in NE Bend. Let me know if you’d like to take a look!
