I am selling my 1988 13’ Casita, I just do not use it often enough to justify the driveway space. Everything works, no leaks, it’s in very good condition for its age and doesn’t need anything. It has a bathroom, an indoor shower, a kitchen, and the dinette converts to a full-size bed with a foam topper.
It has a 3-way Dometic refrigerator, all 3 power sources work, a new 600w microwave (using shore power or generator) and a 6-gallon hot water heater (Suburban brand, with manual). Pump works great. It has a 10-gallon freshwater tank. If you fill the water heater and holding tank, there will be 16 gallons of fresh water on board. It has a catalytic heater that sips propane and keeps it toasty in below zero weather. It also has a Fantastic Fan that I resealed last summer. I always remove the battery during winter, and it holds a good charge for several days depending on use. I have installed dual SAE dongles for hooking up to a solar panel or charging from a trickle charger. New rear plexiglass last summer. You can still get parts for it.
It comes with a portable grey water tank to use when it is necessary. I also removed the bathroom door (it’s heavy-a common modification) and replaced it with a shower curtain so it’s even lighter. I have the original door that goes with it if you want to put it back on.
This would be perfect for just one or two people and it would make a great hunting trailer. I’m 5’11” and I can stand up in it. It would also make a great food truck or concession trailer conversion.
1350 lbs. loaded with a hitch weight of 150 lbs. You can tow it with almost anything. I have the original owner’s manual and a digital version. Tires don’t even have 1500 miles on them, new in 2022. New bearing buddies. It tows great, has a 2” ball. All the lights work. Electric brakes. This thing is ready to go, needs nothing!
It comes with a cover (shown in pictures), wheel covers and a #20 propane tank with gauges. Quite easy to winterize.
