This Scamp has had the following modifications:
1. Rear dinette removed and made into a permanent bed with large drawers underneath.
2. The support post for the side dinette was removed. A new oak table replaced the factory one and it was cantilevered off the wall.
3. Made oak trim for the windows.
4. Removed the carpet and installed vinyl flooring.
5. Removed rear window and installed a window type air conditioner.
6. Added 115 watts solar panels and a trimetric battery monitor.
7. I ordered the trailer without a furnace and I installed a 6000 BTU catalytic heater.
8. Installed a small microwave.
9. Installed new formica counter top.
10. Upgraded to a better quality crank out awning.
11. Added a hitch on the rear for a bike rack.
12. Reinforced frame and added shock absorbers.
13. Added automotive type weatherstripping to the door. Also put a dead bolt lock on the door.
14. Changed all lights to LEDs.
15.Upgraded to 14" radial tires and put crank down jacks on the rear.
I would keep this trailer but my wife has had back surgery and it is too hard for her to get out of the bed.
I would love to come look but couldn't come until the first weekend in May due to the drive
Hello, I am interested in buying your scamp. I live in Garden City Michigan. I am about an hour from Ohio. Can I come and see it this weekend? Thank you. Becca Wilkinson
Becca, you are welcome to come see our Scamp this weekend. We just want to make sure you know we are in the UP, 2 hours west of the Mackinaw Bridge. You will have about an 8 hour drive to get here. Please confirm if you plan to come and when you expect to get here.
Thank you
Hello
I am very interested in driving up to see the trailer on the weekend if it is still available. Do you have any additional pictures of the frame or axel?
Sbyczek, My Scamp is still available and you are welcome to come see it this weekend. Please let me know if you are definitely coming and when you expect to be here. I live on the Garden Peninsula in the UP of Michigan. Where are you located? I do not have any pictures on hand of the frame or axle. Thank you for your interest.
