SOLD - 1972 13ft Hunter Compact Vintage Trailer - $9,500 - Santa Barbara, CA

Hello,

I have in great vintage condition, a rare robin's egg blue 1972 Hunter Compact Jr. People love this trailer as its light weight, made of fiberglass and fun to camp in. She weighs about 1000 pounds and can be easily pulled by an 4 cylinder car or EV and would be perfect behind your Subaru, Rav4 or CRV.

I have pulled this trailer with my Tesla Model 3 with no problem. This trailer is made of fiberglass, wood and glass. Simple, strong, light weight and easy to tow. It would make a great first trailer. It can be moved around your driveway by hand.

Pop top is like a VW Westfalia or Country Homes Camper but it doesn’t break down every trip! You can tow it with your modern car and drop it at your campsite and then you are free to explore. Pop top gives you 6’4″ of headroom and is the full length of the trailer over the kitchen and dinette.

Kitchen has 3 burner stove, stainless steel sink, ice box, lots of drawers, cabinets and a closet. You can hook up to shore power with a standard extension cord to run the lights and outlets. There is a small solar panel hook-up and some lights are currently powered by a lithium battery. I personally have not explored the solar panel so I'm not sure how operational it is. A propane tank runs the stove. Large water tank under couch feeds the sink. The faucet pump is new. The trailer will come with a new ten foot RV hose and filter.

Dinette can seat 6 people and then the table folds down to make the bed. The bed is large and comfortable at 6′ x 6′.

Rear Door is rare and is a great option if you want to fit bikes, surfboards, paddle boards, fishing poles or other long camping items in the camper. You can’t fit them in the standard side doors.

The trailer is in great vintage condition. We have updated it with new paint, window panels and upholstery. It's completely sealed (no leaks), lights, propane and stove work. I’ve got the chrome bay moon hubcaps too! Tires are good and she is ready to tow. We would love to keep her, but our family is growing and she is just a bit too small for us!

Dimensions are:
Length 13 ft with tongue
Width 6 ft
Height with top down 6 1/2 ft

Thanks so much for looking!
