I've decided that it's time to upgrade to a larger trailer and sell my beloved 1972 Hunter Compact Jr. The trailer is in great condition for it's age and a very basic/no-fuss set up. It's been a great "beginner" trailer for me. Hunter Compacts were made in the late 60s-early 70s in California. They're a pretty rare find, especially in this condition.
The interior was rebuilt by the previous owner, but I installed a larger sink with gooseneck faucet, mounted front spare tire, new tires and wheels (2021), new microwave, and TV.
This trailer is shore power only (30amp). (I have installed some battery powered LED lights inside.) There are no gas lines.
Water intake on the side of the trailer and the sink empties into a 5 gallon grey water under the sink.
There's a toilet closet with a Thetford Campa Potti.
Sleeping configurations: two couches or a queen bed. Storage under each couch.
AC mounted on the tongue. Blows very cold.
Pop top in excellent shape.
Windows and door are secure and do not leak.
Mounted 19" TV.
Norcold Refrigerator with freezer
Rock shield
Trailer cover
3 cabinets on sink side with a little shelf on the countertop that I use as a pantry of sorts. Small storage cabinet under fridge and a drawer above the fridge.
This trailer pulls like a dream. I tow with my 2015 Crosstrek with no issues.
Weight is about 1200 lbs. With top down, its exterior height is 85". Trailer is 10 ft long, 6 ft wide, with the hitch, it's 13 ft long. Interior height with top up is 6'3". With the rear door configuration, I'm able to slide a 9ft kayak right between the couches for travel.
Included are 30amp power cord, fresh water hose with pressure gauge and filter, chocks, pair of stabilizer jacks, trailer cover. You are ready to roll!
