PLAYPAC Trailer
1973 Playpac Hitch-Hut With Title, Very rare and Very light weight fiberglass Rv trailer. Ready to be restored. These campers were meant to be towed by cars as you can see by the original Ad. This measures Approximately 7.6ft. Tall by 7.6ft. Wide by 13.6ft. long. This has a tongue weight of less than 100 Lbs. Original Dry weight is 1,130 Lbs. I Do have a Title with this.
Concept of and commissioned by Steve Whysel, the PlayPac "Hitch Hut" was intended to be light enough to be towed by a VW Beetle. Seventy-five of these trailers were built in the USA (eastern) US between 1971-1973, when production ceased. They featured a private bathroom, domed skylight, slept six and had an "ultra modern design." It's a classic! This one needs all new insides.... it's just a shell, inside is gutted, ready for a new owner to rebuid, but they are classics! Thanks for looking, Bill.
