SOLD 1977 Trillium 1300 - $7000 USD - Northern Minnesota

Rare find and priced-to-sell! Our family enjoyed more than 20 years of traveling all over the USA in this 1977 Trillium 1300 (most recently in 2022), but it’s time to pass it on to a new owner. This vintage travel trailer, which once was made in Canada and now is very collectible, boasts many special features you won’t find in other campers: original louvered windows on all sides that can be kept open even in rainstorms for wonderful ventilation; a generous amount of standing room; extremely light weight (we pulled it through mountains with a minivan); ample storage; an awning; and a window in the door—an optional feature missing from many Trilliums.

This much-loved 13-foot camper, which is in great shape and should continue to gain in value, is priced at only $7,000 USD because we’d like to sell it this summer. It’s probably worth more, but we’d like it to be affordable to a young family (like ours was once!) hoping to have their own adventures in it. A good value for anyone who wants to travel in it immediately, “glamp it up” with modern updates, or add it to a collection.

Things to know:

  • Previous owner extended the hitch for easy back-ups!
  • All windows, screens and window shades in good working condition
  • Dinette table (replaced and looks great) converts to 2-person bed
  • Bunk beds sleep 2 additional people or fold into “gaucho” couch
  • Convenient for long drives when you need a break but don’t want to set up; you can “jump sleep”—park in a rest area or parking lot, leave camper hitched to vehicle, then cook/eat/sleep before continuing on…so easy!
  • Stored covered in a level parking space at our house
  • All original: sink and water tank (hand pump from tank or city water line), 2-burner propane stove, furnace, and gas hookups (note: we have never used the furnace or water tank and are selling everything “as is”)
  • AC or DC; has inverter
  • Three of the four cushions have original upholstery in good condition
  • Folding screen door
  • Exterior door remounted with new Trillium replacement hinges (bolt attachment for added strength) and has working lock and key
  • Rock guard covers front windows
  • Interior lights and outlets can be powered by battery or electrical hookup
  • No water damage; minor drips noted occasionally over two decades, but insignificant, and we’ve never sealed anything
  • Previous owner removed the 3-way refrigerator (storage space now)
  • Previous owner replaced wall coverings, which are nice and clean but have begun to pull away and could be replaced (although we haven’t needed to—see photo for example)
  • Certificate of Title-State of Minnesota
  • Has spare tire with cover, plus jacks and chocks
  • No smoking or pets inside since we bought it in 2003; camper is fresh-smelling after almost 50 years!
  • SOLD-$7,000 USD
