We are selling our beloved 13' Scamp trailer, originally purchased from California in 2015. This trailer would make a fantastic renovation project, whether you're looking to remodel and resell or keep it for yourself.
Details-
Exterior: The exterior coat and belly band are intact. Some rivets need replacement, and the paint could use a new gloss coat or buff. The decals have some flaking/chipping, as shown in the pictures.
Plumbing: The plumbing system needs work. There is a crack and leak in the water pump, one of the main lines has a slow leak, and the faucet also leaks.
Electrical & Gas: All electrical and gas systems are functional. The trailer has an upgraded 30amp RV power system with battery maintenance. All electrical lines were replaced with standard conduit. A 6-gallon water heater (electric/gas) was installed and continues to work. The range top is new and works great. The original 3-way fridge is functional but finicky with gas (the pilot light is hard to engage).
Leaks: There are some leaks around the roof air vents that need to be recaulked or butyl taped. The front window has a small leak at the base where the ends of the seal meet, likely fixable with caulking.
Interior: The cabinets need to be replaced. We attempted to salvage the original particle board cupboards, but they started to chip apart, so it would be best to start fresh. A Magic fan was also installed in the roof to replace the old second vent fan. Cushions/covers are new and custom to fit bed shape.
Underbody: The underbody was resealed with fiberglass resin and reinforced about 5 years ago. All main rivets were replaced at that time. A new standard 2" hitch mount was installed 5 years ago.
Other Issues: The trailer jack was bent and needs to be re-bent forward, as shown in the photo.
-Thanks!
