Modified Floorplan 6
This single owner trailer has been customized for more effective storage and function while camping away from full hookups. We enjoyed camping with the tenters rather than overwhelmed by the big rigs.
The fully loaded trailer comes in at about 2500# so a mid sized SUV can tow it. A sway bar is helpful (included) and the trailer has electric brakes.
The custom placement of full sized rear directional light panels are game changers for safety while driving, especially with a bike rack. The original tiny lights just didn't get any respect when changing lanes.
The under mounted full sized drain hose storage replaces the timeless (silly) original container mounted above the hitch. It really was laughable.
Scamps come with the "mouse hole" on the driver's side. The AC power plug is hanging out this hole and you pull it out to plug it in. When you are done, you stuff the cord back into the hole and it goes into the storage space below the bench seat. Instead of this, the external power cord outlet has been added. It eliminates the "mouse hole" and frees up storage space under the back seat. We kept all of our bedding there and the cord is stored in the towing vehicle.
The door area has been improved with handles, lighting, coat hooks and a paper towel holder for grilling. Originally, there was a funky curtain that didn't do much. At night time, a coat can be hung over the hooks for privacy.
The coat closet has been rebuilt for actual heavy duty use. It doesn't fall down anymore and can take however much you care to stuff in.
The customized drawer fronts and table top are a real update. Welcome to the new millennium! The cork flooring is floating on top the original factory carpet. It allows easy sweeping out the door. The recently installed refrigerator has multi power inputs (AC/DC/Gas). The freezer compartment is quite large.
Instead of the dinette across from the refrigerator, there are two pullout storage bins and a corner counter. The counter is a great drop-off place and is an AC or DC charging station for electronics.
Also:
Shower/toilet, vehicle hitch, sway bar included. Awning (Is wonderful), Double propane tanks. Built in gas heater and cooktop. Bike hitch receptacle, new tires, two built in fans (DC), Hot water heater (Gas or AC). Large cargo box to store all the included hoses, cords and leveling chocks. This stores in the hauling vehicle.
