FAQ

-Have you had the axle bearings replaced, and if so, how recently?

2019, previous owners put on whole new axel when they raised the frame.

-Do you mainly use your Casita for backcountry use or campground use? Do you usually run off shore power (120V) when camping or use your propane and 12 V systems?

Campground use. Use 120v mostly, I have tested the 12v systems and it all works.

-Is the fridge 3 way? If so, does the fridge work well on propane, the 120 and the 12V? Is it a 3 cu ft. fridge?

Yes 3 way fridge. I'm not sure the size, please reference the pictures for an idea.

-Is there an electric pump for the faucet on the sink? Is there also a manual pump?

There is an electric pump, no manual pump.

-Is the stove a two burner, propane?

Yes and yes.

-Is the microwave built in or removable?

Removable

-Is there a screen door and, if so, is it in good condition with no tears or side blowouts?

Yes, no holes.

-Are there screens on all the slider windows, and are they all in good condition?

No bug screens, but all have retractable window shades.

-Is there any body damage on the Casita, and are there any leaks?

No and no, it's been tested in rain and pressure washing. No leaks.

-When you replaced the material on the cushions, did you also replace the foam core?

Yes, new foam core.

-What kind of battery...and what is the replacement date on it? Is it a Marine deep cycle battery or an AGM maintenance free deep cycle?

Sticker date on battery is Dec 2019. It's a Marine deep cycle.

-Are all the lights, interior and exterior, working? Are they all LED lights?

Yes they all work, yes LED.

-Are there front running lights on the exterior and are they working?

Running lights as in blinkers/brake lights? Yes they work.

-Are the interior lights 12 volt?

Yes

-Are the rear stabilizer jacks scissor jacks that need mechanical help to drop down? We have simple drop down jacks on the rear of the SCAMP.

Mechanical, there is a handle to spin or you can use a drill and socket to retract/extend.

-In the picture, on the side of the Casita opposite its door, there is a black pipe protruding from under the Casita...what is that pipe?

It's a drain pipe from the grey water tank. Also included behind the propane tanks is a extendable drain hose for long term setups.

-Is it a 7 pin connector to your vehicle? How long does it take for the Casita battery to recharge when driving?

It is a 7 pin connector. I've never timed the charge but I have verified with a multimeter that it will charge while driving.

-Is there a tongue jack?

Yes, manual operation.

-What is the overall height of the Casita including the air conditioner? Can the air conditioner be removed or will that allow for water leakage?

I measured it at 19 ½ feet. It's a little tall due to the raised axle. The Air conditioner does not seem easily removable, I've never installed or removed one myself.
