SOLD - 1972 Hunter Compact Jr. - $17,500 - Pacifica, CA

Vintage Trailer Fanatics!

I am one of you and this is one of the best ones out there…

Up for grabs is a 1972 Hunter Compact Jr. She was made right here in California and is a lightweight, fiberglass, pop top, vintage travel trailer that has been rebuilt from the ground up. This would be perfect behind an electric truck like the Rivian, F150 Lightening, or Tesla Cyber Truck as she is tough but lightweight so it won’t impact your battery range significantly. You can also tow this with just about vehicle as she is lightweight (1,300 lbs), compact (13’ long and 6’ wide) and aerodynamic. Tacoma, Jeep, Rav4, CRV Subaru, SUVs and even minivans all come to mind.

The beauty of this trailer is that it is compact and lightweight so it is easy to tow and easy to move around your driveway. I put a wheel on the front jack and move it by hand. For these reasons, you’ll use it more and even take it to the beach or park of the day and she fits in standard parking spaces. Unlike all of the vans that I love Westfalia, Vanagon, Eurovan and Chinook this trailer is 100% reliable as you tow it with your modern car or truck, park it in the campsite and go explore.

This is the nicest Hunter Compact Jr. on the planet…. There is a cult following of these trailers on FB. Check it out and join in the fun.
