My wife an I have been renovation this camper for the last 4 years. We never intended on selling it but here we are. Every project was done meticulously and it is my honest opinion that this is the cleanest early 2000's Scamp on the road right now. All projects are done and it is ready to go. Improvements:
Interior: Cushions, interior carpeting, walls professionally cleaned by AP/PM Cleaning Services out of Hampton Falls, NH Cabinets: Originals removed and replaced with a Shaker style Cabinet door Under seat compartment doors replaced with ¾ plywood and painted All cabinets and compartments primed with mold resistant primer and top coated
Table: Original table replaced with ¾ in plywood - matte finish poly and painted underside Sequoia table leg system to replace original (original table leg included) Removable and lays flush when not in use to allow for an open floor New mini shelf can be used as a drink rest or when folded down allows for seating on 3 sited of the table
Exterior: Tongue and bumper coated with RD Coatings Monoguard rust inhibition coating Under side rails and running gear coated Northeast Mobile Undercoatings New wheels and tires as of March 2021 (1 - 200 mile trip on them) - Spare (new as of 06/2022) New propane tank - Interior stove works
Exterior Rivets: Removed all the original, and sometimes failing, rivets have been replaced with stainless steel hardware, re-claulked the hole, and installed all new snap caps (inside and outside)
Not included: Battery Possible improvements in the future: Escape hatch plastic vent needs to be replaced Back up light bulbs Rubber wheel grease caps New gel coat to the exterior of the Camper Was buffed and polished in 2019 and they recommended this service as coating is wearing thin Have never tested the water tank or the sink plumbing Previous owner backed into it can cracked the exterior fiberglass shell - Sealed and installed a sheet metal cover to protect. Panel can be removed and fixed by a body shop
