A well-loved and cared for classic Scamp 16. Most closely matches layout 4 except that back then the fridge was smaller and positioned next to the stove and we deleted the bathroom in favor of a Porta-Potti and turned the space into storage.

Modest usage would get a week or more of use of of these batteries before depletion - custom red oak cabinet doors with locking knobs - custom stove cover - Flexiride 3500 lb torsion half-axles. Better ground clearance with no cross-beam. Bolted in place so they can be removed and replaced without the need for any cutting or welding - replaced and upgraded rear stabilizers - Fantastic Fan with thermostat and rain sensor installed - Toilet and black water tank removed to create more storage space. The space under the front bunk is the perfect size to fit a Thetford 92860 Porta-Potti. A shower head is installed in the old power cord cubby

Despite the upgrades, she will need some love as she is over 40 years old. We are selling because the frame isn't built to handle long-distance road trips at modern highway speeds, which was our intended purpose. We also live in Michigan where the roads are abysmal. A frame replacement or reinforcement would likely bring her in line with modern campers, we are just ready to move onto a new or newer camper. As is, she would likely do fine on well-maintained state highways.
